Doc Holliday Molds and Color
Technique by Elsa Riedel

1. Carefully clean greenware re-carving the detail where necessary.
2. Fire to properly fired witness cone 04.
3. Glaze the inside with color of your choice.
4. Fire to properly fired witness cone 06/05.
5. Basecoat with Roughcut Bronze.
6. Load a flat shader with Shadow Green and wetbrush the entire surface.
7. Thin Turquoise to a wash consistency.
8. Thin Shadow Green to a wash consistency.
9. Apply the colors to the frog with the tip of a large round brush allowing them to run.
10. Dampen an old bristle brush with Antique-It.
11. Pick up some whiting(purchased at the hardware store) on the damp brush and apply randomly to the frog.
12. When dry, brush off any excess whiting that did not stick.
