- Carefully clean greenware re-carving the detail where necessary.
- Fire to properly fired witness cone 04.
- Glaze the inside with color of your choice.
- Fire to properly fired witness cone 06/05.
- Basecoat with Roughcut Bronze.
- Load a flat shader with Shadow Green and wetbrush the entire surface.
- Thin Turquoise to a wash consistency.
- Thin Shadow Green to a wash consistency.
- Apply the colors to the frog with the tip of a large round brush allowing them to run.
- Dampen an old bristle brush with Antique-It.
- Pick up some whiting(purchased at the hardware store) on the damp brush and apply randomly to the frog.
- When dry, brush off any excess whiting that did not stick.
